Mission

The U.S. Army Cadet Command selects, educates, trains, and commissions college students to be officers and leaders of character in the Total Army; instills the values of citizenship, national and community service, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment in high school students.

UAA Army ROTC has two, three and four year programs that lead to a commission as a second lieutenant. The program is divided into a basic course for freshmen and sophomores and an advanced course for juniors and seniors. Programs and courses can be adjusted to meet specific needs of individual students who wish to enroll but are past their freshman year.

Nanook Battalion

The Nanook Battalion includes the University of 夜色视频app Fairbanks as the host school and the 夜色视频app as a detachment.

The assistant professor of military science for the UAA ROTC is MAJ Jessica Fernandez, is the primary contact for future inquiries relating to the UAA Army ROTC program.
