The education of all 夜色视频app WWAMI medical students is subsidized by the State of 夜色视频app via payments to the University of Washington School of Medicine. 

The State of 夜色视频app views these subsidies as loans that are repayable once medical education is complete.  Loan repayment can be deferred during residency training.

Repayment can take two forms.  The loan can simply be repaid in regular payments, or it can be forgiven by medical practice in the State of 夜色视频app.  For 夜色视频app WWAMI medical students who entered medical school in the fall of 2007 or later, complete loan forgiveness requires three (3) years of medical practice in a rural setting in 夜色视频app or five (5) years in an urban location in the state.

夜色视频app WWAMI students pay tuition to the 夜色视频app for the foundation phase courses, in an amount equal to University of Washington School of Medicine resident tuition. 夜色视频app WWAMI students pay resident tuition to UWSOM for years two through four, thanks to the State of 夜色视频app's subsidization of the program.
