We Put Students First! The UAA Office of Student Success believes that everyone on a college campus contributes to a student鈥檚 education. Our initiatives aim to connect our community of students with faculty, advisors, mentors, peers, and programs to help Seawolves find the right path, stay on track, and cross the finish line.
Student Success Initiatives at UAA
At UAA we put students first. The Office of Student Success oversees initiatives designed to open doors for you, our students, to access post-secondary education and to find the support you need to make your college journey from admission to graduation a success! Course placement will help you select the best level of math and writing courses for so that you can start UAA successfully. Textbook affordability initiatives help keep your cost of attendance low. You can find valuable resources for your day-to-day college life through Student Advising, the Learning Commons (and its tutoring and academic success coaching resources). As a UAA student, you can take advantage of opportunities like Education Abroad and Seawolf Debate. Behind the scenes, UAA's electronic tool Navigate helps you connect with advisors and other resources. The Office of Student Success also partners with other programs to provide experiential learning opportunities like the Annual Student Showcase.
